#THESUMMEROFSNOW - ARTIST JEFFREY HAYES JOINS SNOW TEAM!

Snow Art in Process by Jeffrey Hayes
#TheSummerofSnow continues!

There are still two books to release in Snow series 1, but we're already looking forward to Snow Series 2. I am thrilled to share the news that artist Jeffrey Hayes has joined the Snow team and is currently working on a cover for a Snow series 2 release. I have already loosely plotted 3 stories for series 2 and this is the first bit of art.

"I am thrilled to have Jeffrey Hayes design a Snow cover. Jeff's cover convey a sense of power and motion that makes the images leap off the page and just feels right for an action/thriller like Snow. Just seeing the tease above has me excited to start writing that Snow story. I have to keep reminding myself there are a couple in front of it to finish first." - Bobby Nash

I’m very excited to be working on this project. Bobby Nash has created a fun and exciting character that inspires my creativity. Abraham Snow is a character who finds himself in any number of crisis - for an artist, that opens up many visual opportunities. Over the coming weeks I will be developing an initial illustration that I hope will capture the thrills, mystery and excitement found in the SNOW book series.” - Jeff Ray Hayes
I will share more of Jeff's Snow art as we go along.
Jeff and I have been part of the same books before Snow. He did some covers for Pro Se Productions on projects I was involved with. I'm pasting them here as well so you can check out his fantastic art. Check him out at Plasma Fire Graphics, Facebook, and Instagram. Shoot him a friend request and tell him Snow sent ya.

Welcome to Team Snow, Jeffrey Hayes!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! A LOOK BACK AT 2017 AND BOOKS RELEASED!

As we settle in to the final few hours of 2017 (to which I say, good riddance), I thought I would take a look back at my output for the year. Let's start with the not so good so this ends on a positive note.

If you follow me on any social media platform or regularly visit my website, you'll know that 2017 was a rough year for me both personally and professionally. My Mom passed away in September after a 3 year battle against cancer. A large chunk of my last year and a half has been caring for her as her condition worsened. Her loss is still a gut punch that will take time to heal. My Dad developed a medical issue and knee replacement surgery as well during this time so I was caretaker for both of them. I was laid off from my day job at the right time to take care of them, so that was a positive, at least. I never thought I would be thankful to be let go from a job.

I had to cancel several convention appearances in 2017 while taking care of the folks and many deadlines fell behind. I am appreciative that the conventions and publishers I work with were all understanding and worked with me to readjust my schedule. I have already started building my 2018 convention schedule. March, specifically, is packed with something each weekend.

My Dad is doing better, recovering nicely from his surgery. We're still all pretty raw emotionally here, but my dad, brother, and I are getting through it together.

I have started getting back into the writing groove. I'm not quite back up to the daily word count I was hitting before, but I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things and there are big plans afoot for 2018, including catching up old deadlines and a few new projects being added to the pipeline. 2018 looks to be a busy year.

Speaking of busy years, 2017 did see some books released featuring my work, including 5 audio books (reading previously released material), 1 bundle (featuring the previously released Earthstrike Agenda novel), and 7 paperback releases. You can see the full list below.

I look forward to an exciting 2018 as series continue and new projects also launch. As a matter of fact, I spoke with an artist friend of mine today and we kicked around some ideas on the comic book front. Keep watching this space for more details as I have them to share.

Thank you for following my assorted ramblings this year. Please, stick around for more. I will try to be entertaining. You can also keep track of my various comings and goings on PatreonFacebookInstagramTwitterPinterestGoogle+LinkedIn!, www.bobbynash.com, and on this page.
