Playing with some cover text/art for an upcoming Snow series 2 story. This is one of the earliest Snow plots I developed after I created the series. In fact, the 'Hunt' part predates Snow. Hmmm... I know, I know, I still have 2 books left in series 1. Don't worry. I'm working on them too.
A little behind the scenes info. Before there was an Abraham Snow, there was Abraham Hunt and the plan was to call this book Hunt's Bounty, Hunt's Revenge, Hunt's... well, you get the idea. Now, Hunt and Snow are not the same character, in fact, they are quite dissimilar. I started Hunt's Bounty, but later set it aside. I took a few of the ideas, not to mention the first name of the protagonist from the original story and used them in the creation of Abraham Snow. In series 2, coming 2020 most likely, I have plans to have the two characters meet in a story I'm calling Snow Hunt and maybe Snow Bounty if it's a two-parter, which is what I'm thinking at the moment. All of that is subject to change, of course.
More Snow Hunt details to follow. Look for it in Snow Series 2.

Just a head's up! SUICIDE BOMB is an adult suspense/thriller. There's a good deal of murder, death, mayhem, and terror taking place in this story. There will even be some cussing and sex too. Please be aware of that going in. If it were a movie, I suspect it would have an R rating. You've been warned. There will be some adult language.
Please, join us and sit back, have fun, and enjoy the carnage and mayhem of SUICIDE BOMB.
As always, I appreciate your support. Feedback is also welcome and appreciated.

Today, Morehouse, still a master game player and manipulator, commits suicide while in prison. His death initiates one final game of survival for the people Morehouse felt wronged him the most. At that top of the list are Bartlett and West, who must set aside their differences to save the lives of Morehouse's other victims and solve one last game before a dead man's hired killers catch them and his other enemies.

Here's a side by side comparison of his first image and the finished headshot.
Says Jeffrey Hayes about this image: Well, today promises to be a WIP Sneak Peek Tuesday. Here is another work-in-progress sneak peek at the poster / book cover work for author Bobby Nash’s “Snow” series. One of the most important elements is to establish the look of the main character and after receiving some guidance from the author, I was able to create a character design that he approved. The picture on the left is the basic paint and the one on the right is the refined version that will be the final image of Abraham Snow. Now to move on to his rifle and tac-vest which will take the remainder of the week to complete. I will have another quick sneak peek to post shortly. Have a great week! #thesummerofsnow
More fantastic art teases from Jeffrey Hayes. I love it!
Says Jeffrey Hayes about this image: Here is the final WIP sneak peek for a few days while I continue to work and enjoy the upcoming holiday. So this is the scene that appears in the upper right quadrant of the poster / book cover for author Bobby Nash’s “Snow” series. The full illustration will have the central character and four action scenes surrounding the main character of Abraham Snow. This scene shows the Snow’s Learjet under fire by some surface to air missiles and some F-22 Raptors flying alongside. Are the Raptors chasing or escorting? Why did the missiles miss the Learjet? You will have to find out. Until then, check out Bobby’s “Snow” series on Amazon. You can see more art at my Instagram page @plasmafiregraphics or see different artwork at www.plasmafiregraphcis.com. Make it a badass day! #thesummerofsnow
I am absolutely blown away by Jeffrey's work on these Snow images. I can't wait until we can unveil the final, finished piece.

Here's a sneak peek at the latest Abraham Snow adventure in process. This one's called Snow Flies. This story takes place during Snow series 1. Barring any unforeseen incidents, this will premiere in a crime anthology first then be collected in 2020 in a book called Snow Shorts, which will have 3 short stories at roughly 10,000 words each. The three together would be the same size as a regular Snow novella. This gives me some room to let some of Snow's other characters take a turn in the spotlight. I have an idea for a Samson Brooks story in my head at the moment. #TheSummerofSnow
Abraham Snow hated to fly.
This wasn’t always the case. There was a time when he loved air travel. During his undercover days, using the carefully prepared alias James Shepperd, Snow crisscrossed the globe on private jets, drinking champagne in soft leather seats while beautiful women kept his glass refilled. Once, he even found himself inducted into the mile-high club on one of those rare occasions when he and Daniela Cordoza had Miguel Ortega’s plane all to themselves.
Ortega was her boss, and the object of Snow’s undercover operation. Back then, Snow worked for Mother, an unofficial branch of the United States’ war on terror. Snow had been working undercover gigs for Mother for almost ten years before he had to give it up.
More precisely, when his cover was blown and Miguel Ortega shot him and left him for dead on a South American airstrip. It was not the ideal method of retiring, but that was the end result of a bullet missing his heart by only half an inch.
Lying there on that blistering hot tarmac, Snow vaguely recalled an out of body sensation before crashing back to Earth where his bleeding form waited. When his people found him, Snow was strapped to a gurney and flown to the nearest medical facility. He couldn’t say with any certainty that the out of body experience really happened or if it was a fever-induced hallucination, but that moment coupled with lying in the evac helicopter was when his nervousness about heights, most notably flying, began.
Coming soon.Keep watching this space for more details.
After a near fatal encounter while deep undercover in South America, Abraham Snow retires from his work as a government operative and returns home after more than a decade. Even surrounded by family and friends, Snow discovers that you don't just walk away from the life and he quickly finds himself neck deep in danger once again. Snow is a do-gooder turned p.i. who does his best to help those in need while still trying to solve that one final case. Where is the man who shot him? Who blew his cover in South America? Snow is determined to find the answers no matter how many bullets it takes. Published byBEN Books.

Bobby Nash's love for the 70's P.I. sings off these pages like a bullet careening off the windshield of a Detroit Muscle car. Razor sharp writing and deep pulp sensibility keeps this series at the top of the list!
#TheSummerofSnow rolls on with a closer look at Jeffrey Hayes' work on the Snow cover/poster art. This is just one corner of the image. I love it!
From Jeffrey Hayes: Work continues on Bobby Nash's "Snow" promotional poster / book cover, so here is this week's sneak peek. This image is the lower left quadrant of the piece and features Snow chasing an armored Jeep that just has to be stopped. Looks like it will happen after a few well-placed rounds from an ally in the air. Check back next week for more sneak peeks of the work in progress. #thesummerofsnow
We love reader reviews! A Big #TheSummerofSnow thank you to author Mark Bousquet for his 4-STAR Amazon Reader Review and kind words for SNOW FALLS.
"Snow rises! In the afterword, Bobby Nash writes that SNOW FALLS is inspired by the TV shows of earlier decades, and that's exactly what SNOW FALLS feels like. Heck, the only thing missing is an accompanying Post/Carpenter theme song. Nash has created a character in Abraham Snow that feels like an old friend. Like Thomas Magnum or "Skid" McCormick or the dudes from Riptide, the appeal with Snow is having an engaging escort through the action you expect. Through it all, Nash makes the familiar feel fresh. While some of the pacing is slowed a bit because this is the first in the series and there's a range of secondary characters to establish, SNOW FALLS is, by and large, a satisfying page turner. I'll be back for more Snow stories in the future."
