THE AUGUSTA TOY AND COMICS SHOW/JOEFEST 2020 DATE CHANGES...

The Augusta Toy and Comic Show/Joefest 2020 was scheduled for June 27 - 28, 2020 in Augusta, GA at the New Augusta Convention Center. Due to COVID-19 issues, the convention had been rescheduled for Labor Day weekend. I was set to be part of Indies World, but I am already booked elsewhere on that weekend so I will not be there for this year's show. I will return for The Augusta Toy and Comic Show/Joefest 2021.

inspired the author. The first two books were a solid introduction to the main character Abraham Snow, his family and friends who accompany him on his action adventures. It was in the third book, “Snow Drive,” that I became a fan. The story is tight, and the mystery whips you around keeping you suitably off balance until the end. I totally recommend the “Snow” series and the best way it to purchase the first three books in this single volume. Truly worth a five-star rating. Looking forward to the further adventures of Abraham Snow."

PLANNING FOR SNOW SERIES 2 IS UNDERWAY! #THESUMMEROFSNOW

Here's a #TheSummerOfSnow tease.

Playing with some cover text/art for an upcoming Snow series 2 story. This is one of the earliest Snow plots I developed after I created the series. In fact, the 'Hunt' part predates Snow. Hmmm... I know, I know, I still have 2 books left in series 1. Don't worry. I'm working on them too.

A little behind the scenes info. Before there was an Abraham Snow, there was Abraham Hunt and the plan was to call this book Hunt's Bounty, Hunt's Revenge, Hunt's... well, you get the idea. Now, Hunt and Snow are not the same character, in fact, they are quite dissimilar. I started Hunt's Bounty, but later set it aside. I took a few of the ideas, not to mention the first name of the protagonist from the original story and used them in the creation of Abraham Snow. In series 2, coming 2020 most likely, I have plans to have the two characters meet in a story I'm calling Snow Hunt and maybe Snow Bounty if it's a two-parter, which is what I'm thinking at the moment. All of that is subject to change, of course.

More Snow Hunt details to follow. Look for it in Snow Series 2.

A SNOW FLIES TEASE...

Here's a sneak peek at the latest Abraham Snow adventure in process. This one's called Snow Flies. This story takes place during Snow series 1. Barring any unforeseen incidents, this will premiere in a crime anthology first then be collected in 2020 in a book called Snow Shorts, which will have 3 short stories at roughly 10,000 words each. The three together would be the same size as a regular Snow novella. This gives me some room to let some of Snow's other characters take a turn in the spotlight. I have an idea for a Samson Brooks story in my head at the moment. #TheSummerofSnow

Abraham Snow hated to fly.

This wasn’t always the case. There was a time when he loved air travel. During his undercover days, using the carefully prepared alias James Shepperd, Snow crisscrossed the globe on private jets, drinking champagne in soft leather seats while beautiful women kept his glass refilled. Once, he even found himself inducted into the mile-high club on one of those rare occasions when he and Daniela Cordoza had Miguel Ortega’s plane all to themselves.

Ortega was her boss, and the object of Snow’s undercover operation. Back then, Snow worked for Mother, an unofficial branch of the United States’ war on terror. Snow had been working undercover gigs for Mother for almost ten years before he had to give it up.

More precisely, when his cover was blown and Miguel Ortega shot him and left him for dead on a South American airstrip. It was not the ideal method of retiring, but that was the end result of a bullet missing his heart by only half an inch.

Lying there on that blistering hot tarmac, Snow vaguely recalled an out of body sensation before crashing back to Earth where his bleeding form waited. When his people found him, Snow was strapped to a gurney and flown to the nearest medical facility. He couldn’t say with any certainty that the out of body experience really happened or if it was a fever-induced hallucination, but that moment coupled with lying in the evac helicopter was when his nervousness about heights, most notably flying, began.
