LANCE STAR AND THE GHOST SQUADRON (A 12 PART SERIALIZED STORY) CHAPTER 2!

 

Lance Star and the Ghost Squadron chapter 2 is now live in The Beam and on Patreon!

When an old pilot buddy calls him for help, Lance Star flies out immediately to investigate the mysterious Ghost Squadron.

Lance Star: Sky Ranger takes flight. This 12 part serialized story was commissioned by The Beam, a newspaper insert in south Georgia. New installments will run each month, making this a 12 chapter story. With The Beam's kind permission, I will also be sharing the serialized pulp adventure on Patreon as well. You can read it HERE.

BOBBY VISITS MONSTERAMA!

 

I had a great day at Monsterama's Sinbad and the Eye of the Monsterama convention. I was only able to attend today, but packed in a full weekend's worth in that day. I did 4 panels.

Doug Murray, Michael Gordon, & I talked Writing for Comics.
Kyle Mitchell, Aubrey Spivey, Anthony Liggins, & I performed a sorta-kinda-semi-dramatic reading of R.L. Stine's GI Joe Find Your Fate adventure: Serpentor and the Mummy Warrior.
Gord Shriver, Kyle Mitchell, Michael Gordon, & I looked at some of our favorite Post-Doyle Sherlock Holmes stories.
Michael Gordon & I ended the day talking about our favorite monster team-ups.

I saw so many cool folk and friends that there's no way to fit them all. Thanks to Tonya Dorsey & Dm Holley for taking some photos of the panels. I also got to meet Nicholas Meyer, which was cool. I love his work.

I'm looking forward to returning next year. A great con.

BOBBY VISITS THE ZONE!

 

I had a great time at 6th Annual Halloween Comic Spooktacular at The Zone in Tifton, GA. Artist Fox Gray both did free sketches (she did an amazing JAWS sketch for me) and I had books on hand and signed free copies of Lance Star and the Ghost Squadron issues of The Beam. It was a fun day.

THE WRAP UP-- GEORGIA AUTHOR FAIR and MULTIVERSE!

 

I had a great time on Saturday at Switzer Library's Georgia Author Fair in Marietta, GA. It was a bit slow, but I met some great writers, caught up with friends, and made a good day of it. I also talked with the library about the upcoming Crimes in Time graphic novel set coming in December and donated copies of In The Wind and Such A Night to their shelves.

Afterward, I popped into Multiverse Convention to say hello. I know many of those in attendance so it was great to see everyone and hang out for a few hours. A good time.

As cool as it to sell books, one of the coolest things is when someone brings books with them they bought elsewhere to be signed. That happened twice on Saturday. I love signing a well-loved book.
