MIDWAY-- A FREE AUDIO ADVENTURE!

I've been sitting on this one awhile, much longer than I should have. No real reason other than my own hectic schedule and simply forgetting about it when I've been updating the site. But enough excuses. Several months back, I stepped into the recording studio with sound engineer David Burns to record a reading of Midway, one of the short stories that is part of my Frontier collection of stories. Midway was directed by Mike Gordon and Anthony Taylor, a couple of talented writer friends who helped keep me from reading too fast, which I kept wanting to do for some reason.

I think it turned out pretty well, although I hate hearing my own voice recorded. I've been told repeatedly that everyone feels that way so I guess I have to believe it. Heh.

NEED AN AIRSTRIKE? CALL IN THE SKY RANGERS!

"You heard the man, Rangers!"

Operation Silver Moon is a graphic novel project currently in production and written by Bobby Nash with art/tones by Rick Johnson. In this sneak peek page from the book, set during World War II, a certain group of air aces makes a cameo appearance. When an air strike is called in over hostile territory, the War Department sends in their best pilots-- The Sky Rangers, under the command of Captain Lance Star.

"I can't say enough great things about Rick's art or the man himself," said Bobby Nash of his collaborator on this project. "Rick has been a great partner on this project and has become a great friend in the process. I'm excited to unveil Operation Silver Moon in 2014."

"Some great discussions of writing and books, which I always enjoy," said Bobb of the event. "The crowd wasn’t quite what we hoped for, but everyone who came to the panels had a good time. The comic panel had the best attendance of the panels I attended."
