PRODUCTION UPDATE - IN THE WIND: A SHERIFF TOM MYERS MYSTERY BY BOBBY NASH!

I spent Sunday night doing production work on the paperback and ebook editions of "In The Wind" the Sheriff Tom Myers mystery. I wrote an essay to accompany the book, laid out the pages, gave it a final polish, and it's almost ready to go. The plan is to upload it to Amazon KDP tomorrow to go on sale around August 1st. Fingers crossed. I will solicit audio narrators once it is on sale as well. But for now, it's time to call it a day. I'm beat. Sweet dreams and let's dive back into it tomorrow. THE SOUTHERN PEN WRITER'S CONFERENCE POSTPONED UNTIL AUGUST 8TH DUE TO CORONA VIRUS RESTRICTIONS!

The Southern Pen Writers Conference originally scheduled for this Saturday, March 21st in Monroe, GA has been cancelled and rescheduled. Due to Corona virus restrictions, the venue will be shut down for the foreseeable future. The writer's conference has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2020 in Monroe, GA. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected scheduling conflict, I will be unable to attend the Books and Brews event on Friday, December 13th in Savannah, GA (6 pm - 9 pm) at Southbound Brewing Company.

If you are in the area, please give the event a visit. You will have a great time.

Books and Brews combines authors and adult beverages raising funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire and to promote literacy in our community. Featuring a check presentation to the RMH, live music by Knot Done and a few of Savannah's local authors!

I was really looking forward to joining Adam and the other authors for the event. I will hopefully be able to join them at a Savannah event in 2020.

On Saturday, July 12th, I joined with authors Deirdre deLaughter, Bill Hale, Amber Roessner, and Robert Vasvary for an Author Event at Avid Bookshop in Athens, GA. We started at 6:30 p.m. and each author was introduced by Avid's Rachel and did a short talk and Q and A session about their book. Afterward, there was a book signing and meet and greet.

I had an absolute blast. There was a nice crowd of about 30 or so who came out for the event and they came with really good questions, which is always nice. I even had one asked of me that I had never been asked before. Sadly, I didn't sell any books, which was a bummer, but it happens. Avid did keep a few signed copies on their shelves so if you're in the Athens, GA area and would like to pick up a copy of one of my novels (Evil Ways, Deadly Games!,
